We are seeking enthusiastic and committed team players who are willing to offer their skills to serve as trustees, and support the centre to fulfil its role as a vibrant arts organisation. Collectively the board is responsible for developing strategic direction, governance, fiscal management as well as representing the Arts Centre in creative, business and community settings.
Individually each board members holds a ‘Portfolio’ comprised of a component of the Art Centre’s operations that the trustee has an interest in and which they can use their skills and knowledge to contribute to. This could include offering professional skills, experience relevant to a particular project, or advice as a creative practitioner.
If you are looking for a rewarding avenue to enhance Whangarei creative community the Northland Craft Trust board of trustees would like to hear from you. Alongside this open call for expressions of interest, the board is seeking trustees with finance and business development experience to fill existing portfolios.
