Sat 5th May 2018 until
Sun 6th May 2018
In this weekend workshop Dell will take you through the process of building a life-like torso from thigh to neck. During the building process Dell will teach you how to make the work structurally sound, and give you techniques for easy shaping and correction along the way.
Please note that your completed work will be no more than 40cm in height to facilitate correct drying and kiln firing.
This is a structured workshop focusing on technique and has a planned outcome.
The workshop includes 11 hours tuition, pottery room hire, use of tools, a bag of BRT Clay and bisque firing of your work. You will most likely have clay left to take home with you.
Due to the nature of the work the class is restricted to 6 people but also has a minimum requirement for 6 students to proceed. Places are allocated on payment of the workshop fee.
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of May, 10-4.
$190 (Includes materials and firing). Bookings essential.
