About this workshop:
Highly recommended for beginners new to glazing! Suitable 16 years* and older.
Join noted Northland ceramics tutor Julie Cromwell for a two hour session on the basics of glaze application and techniques. Included are a range of Amaco high fire glazes, one bowl, several test tiles and firing.
If you are glazing your own existing bisque work, please bring along your choice of glazes and firing will be at the usual public kiln firing prices. If you are unfamilar with submitting your own work for firing, please chat with our friendly staff in the Yvonne Rust Gallery for assistance before 4.30pm. The team can also provide you with advice on glazes before the workshop starts at 2pm.
If you really need to pay by cash or EFTPOS please come into Quarry Arts to make your booking Monday to Saturday, 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Refunds and cancellations
Workshops are held at the Quarry Arts Centre operated by the Northland Craft Trust, a registered non-profit charitable trust.
If a class is cancelled by us, a full refund will be given.
If you are unable to attend your workshop, you can reschedule to any future scheduled wheel workshop of the same type if you email us as soon as possible prior to the workshop commencement. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are unable to find a suitable reschedule date, we will hold store credit for you. Store credit can be used for any purchase through the Northland Craft Trust including purchases through the ceramics shops, paints, workshops and the gallery. Store credit can also be used for online purchases via www.quarryarts.org. Please email email@example.com to activate your store credit for online use.
Other refunds are at our discretion and an administration fee may be deducted. We appreciate that circumstances change, and unforeseen events happen. We will do our best to help.
