About the Beginner’s Wheel Workshop:
Experienced tutor and noted Northland ceramicist Julie Cromwell will introduce you to using the potter’s wheel with this hands-on course over two mornings. The first will focus on making form, the second on turning the work you have made.
10am – 1pm both days
Wear old clothes and closed shoes.
Course cost excludes clay which is available for purchase on the first day. Depending on if clay can be shared, clay will cost $25-$50 per person. Clay is available for purchase through the shop. Your tutor will assist you with the clay purchase and options for sharing to reduce costs. Includes bisque firing within class limits. Excludes glazing.
Suitable 16 years* and older.
Payment for these classes is by credit card when you book online. If you really need to pay by cash or EFTPOS please come into Quarry Arts to make your booking.

Refunds and cancellations
Workshops are held at the Quarry Arts Centre operated by the Northland Craft Trust, a registered non-profit charitable trust.
If a class is cancelled by us, a full refund will be given.
If you are unable to attend your workshop, you can reschedule to any future scheduled wheel workshop of the same type if you email us as soon as possible prior to the workshop commencement. Email email@example.com
If you are unable to find a suitable reschedule date, we will hold store credit for you. Store credit can be used for any purchase through the Northland Craft Trust including purchases through the ceramics shops, paints, workshops and the gallery. Store credit can also be used for online purchases via www.quarryarts.org. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to activate your store credit for online use.
Other refunds are at our discretion and an administration fee may be deducted. We appreciate that circumstances change, and unforeseen events happen. We will do our best to help.
