Robert's interdisciplinary work follows strategies of engagement that blur the lines between the art institution and public space.

Robert uses sound, sculpture, interaction and performance to create situations with eccentric, humorous character. He asks questions about the nature of authority, the bounds of acceptable behaviour, and challenges expectations about the way objects should function.
