Themes of harvest, the acknowledgement of those who have passed on, Whanau, Hapu and the sharing & caring of Matauranga Maori are central, symbolizing a time for reflection, connection, and renewal within the community.
The Matariki / Puanga celebration gathers artists from diverse disciplines to create artworks inspired by the Maori New Year. This group show with 20+ artists reflects the essence of Matariki / Puanga, focusing on the end of the previous year and the anticipation of the new one.
