The Quarry Arts Centre has a range of spaces available for arts and community related events.
In addition to spaces for hire, we can also facilitate art activities for private groups, team-building and special events. Choose from a range of tutor-led workshops working with clay, painting, drawing and mixed media. Week days, weekends or evenings.

Please note that most bookings require a minimum three hour hire (including your setup/packdown). Refer also to the further notes below the following rates table:

Discounted/Free/Koha rates can be negotiated, subject to availability for approved groups, activities and availability.
Bookings for peak periods may require a minimum 3 hour booking before or after 12pm. In some cases, a full day rate may need to apply if the booking if for a part-day that procludes other bookings (e.g. bookings commencing before 12pm and ending between 1pm and 4pm).
Surcharges may apply for after-hours access and staff supervision depending on the intended use.
Deposit may be required. Refundable key and condition fee may also apply.
Subject to the type of event and number of attendees, the following additional charges may apply:
– Cleaning and bathroom use: from $30.00
– Setup costs (unless room used “as is”): from $30.00
– After hours staff support (events starting and or ending outside regular business hours): from $30/hr
– Seating for up to 40 people using “as is” chairs: $0.00 (additional seats can be hired from $5.00 each)
– Speaker/PA system: from $30.00
– Projector/screen: from $30.00
Final rates and acceptable intended use are at management discretion.
