Price: $30.00 (two hours with break). Easels are available.
About these workshops: Observation of the human form has always been at the heart of artistic training. This essential practice presents challenges in conveying form, structure and foreshortening. This untutored class will develop your drawing fitness, observation skills, and artistic style. Workshops feature various unclothed live life models.
Suitable for adults aged 18 and over, or 16 and over with parental permission.
Bring your own art materials (e.g. paper, pencils, charcoal, etc) and join in on one of these regular untutored Life Drawing workshops.
These workshops are run by the Whangarei Life Drawing community with the support of the Whangarei District Creative Communities Scheme and the Quarry Arts Centre.
Cash payments accepted on the day in the workshop. If you need to pay in-person with Eftpos, please pop into the Quarry Arts Centre Gallery Shop. The Quarry Arts Centre's open hours are Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm (not open public holidays). To contact the organisers, you can find them on site before class each day workshops are held.
