The Quarry is home to a changing group of resident artists who work from on-site studios.

Ornthira
Material is where Ornthira’s practice begins. Working across jewellery, printmaking and digital media, she approaches making as a way of thinking through diaspora, contrast, and place. Shaped by her Thai heritage and her experience growing up in Aotearoa ~ New Zealand, her work engages with nature both as subject and collaborator. Her process is intuitive and form-seeking. She thinks through materials, allowing texture, line and structure to guide the development of each work. Rosie Wild (Wild Card) is a visual artist exploring themes of feminine mysticism, surreality and ancient symbolism.  Raised in the Netherlands and the UK, her alternative upbringing kept her in regular contact with stone circles, pagan celebrations and holistic practices, generating a life long interest in the symbols and structures that have supported humanity across the ages.
