Casual Clay Day

Casual Clay are the Quarry Arts Centre’s untutored sessions, providing access to our ceramic studio space set up with tables, Potter’s Wheels and shelf drying space for $10 (or $5 senior discount).

Potter's Wheels are only available to use if you have taken our Beginner's Wheel Workshop or have confident prior wheel experience. This is to ensure no damage is caused to our wheels or other people's work in the Pottery Room. 

Casual Clay is suitable for self-directed practice and projects and only for those with clay experience. If it is your first time looking at attending Casual Clay, get in touch with us or come in and meet the Quarry Arts team at the Yvonne Rust Gallery Shop, we would love to hear about your clay making experience.

Bookings to use the wheel recommended, and for the evening session it is necessary to book before 4pm (as the room will be locked).
