Join us for a two-day creative tutorial where you'll craft a unique mixed media artwork using collage, acrylic paints, and inks. Collage is a powerful technique that brings together photographs, paper, fabric, and other materials to form a cohesive visual story. The word “collage” comes from the French word meaning (“to glue”), this method invites chance, contrast, and layered meaning.
Participants will learn how to build their collage, then enhance it with paint, glaze, and manipulation to create depth and texture. With endless possibilities to explore, this workshop is a playful and inspiring space to experiment, express, and create.
Come join us and discover the joy of mixed media!
Please bring: snacks, a drink, and a packed lunch for both days

Workshops are held at the Quarry Arts Centre operated by the Northland Craft Trust, a registered non-profit charitable trust.
As we don't have a cleaner to help us out, we ask that you check with your child to ensure they have done their bit and cleaned their tools and wiped their table area when picking them up. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a tidy environment, and all cleaning tools are provided for your convenience.
