Plates are on display in the Yvonne Rust Gallery until Sat 1st Nov. Plates will be ready for pick up or postage from Monday 3rd Nov.

The Quarry Arts Centre warmly invites you to our annual fundraiser:
✨ The Great Plate 25 ✨
Featuring stunning works by 60+ artists from across Aotearoa, this year’s event showcases a vibrant mix of ceramics, textiles, painting, sculpture, and more — celebrating creativity, collaboration, and community.
The Great Plate has been a beloved tradition since 2008, with last year’s edition presented as The Creative Cup. These fundraisers have made a real difference—supporting key projects like the addition of our Phoenix Soda Kiln—and have helped nurture the vibrant artistic community we’re proud to be part of.
Plates will be displayed and auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds going toward much-needed upgrades to our Pottery Room, a shared community and workshop space. Planned improvements include new flooring, cabinet doors, drying racks, shelving, work tables, and freshly painted, panelled walls.

Join us for nibbles and drinks as you place the first bids on your favourite plates and support our thriving creative community.

Join us to watch the final bidding on this years Great Plate collection! Over 60 artists from across Aotearoa have been invited to create a plate with 100% of funds raised dedicated towards upgrading our on site Pottery Room.
The Great Plate has been a key fundraiser for The Quarry since 2008, with notable projects like our Phoenix kiln, created as a result of these annual community fundraisers.
