Description
Casual Clay, is available every Tuesday, hours from 9.30am – 4pm. If you wish to join the evening casual sessions after 4pm, please purchase the Evening Casual Clay or Wheel session. Subject to availability and not open on public holidays and dates on which the Quarry Arts Centre is closed (e.g. Xmas/New Year periods).
Users need to bring their own clay and tools. This session is self-directed with no tutor present.
Clay, glaze and tools can be bought through the Quarry Art Centre as we have supplies on site.
There are seven Potters Wheels for experiened throwers to use.
Users must clean up after themselves, and respect the space within the Pottery room.
* The casual clay session on Tuesday is only suitable for those with clay experience, or who have previously undertaken at least a beginners workshop with us previously. Attendees should be 18 or over, or 16 and over if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Each attendee needs to book online or pay in-person through the gallery shop.
