Important Note: From 14th February Casual Clay will shift to the Scallop Room and pottery wheels will not be available
Casual Clay is available most Wednesday’s from 9.30am – 4.30pm. Subject to availability and not open on public holidays and dates on which the Quarry Arts Centre is closed (e.g. Xmas/New Year periods). Please check our daily schedule for specific availability or call us on 094381215.
Users need to bring their own clay and tools. This session is self-directed with no tutor present.
Clay, glaze and tools can be bought through the Quarry Art Centre as we have supplies on site.
There are up to seven potters wheels for experienced throwers to use (not available from 14th February 2024).
Users must clean up after themselves, and respect the space within the Pottery room.
* The casual clay session is only suitable for those with clay experience, or who have previously undertaken at least a beginners workshop with us previously. Attendees should be 18 or over, or 16 and over if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Each attendee needs to book online or pay in-person through the gallery shop.
