Join the Whangārei Life Drawing community over 5 weeks in this untutored class to develop your drawing fitness, observation skills, and artistic style.
Observation of the human form has always been at the heart of artistic training. This essential practice presents challenges in conveying form, structure and foreshortening.
Workshops feature various unclothed live life models.
Suitable for adults aged 18 and over, or 16 and over with parental permission.
Bring your own art materials (e.g. paper, pencils, charcoal, etc) and join in these regular untutored Life Drawing workshops. Materials and equipment are also available for purchase in the Quarry Arts shop during open hours. Easels are supplied.
These workshops are run by the Whangarei Life Drawing community with the support of the Whangarei District Creative Communities Scheme and the Quarry Arts Centre.
If you need to pay in-person by cash or Eftpos, please pop into the Quarry Arts Centre Gallery Shop before the cutoff date of Monday the 24th August. The Quarry Arts Centre's open hours are Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm (not open public holidays).
