Abbots Amazon is a Cone 6 midfire brushing glaze with a richly variegated green finish and strong natural character. Mossy greens shift into deeper blue-green tones, with warm amber and rust highlights breaking through on raised edges and textured surfaces. Colour develops in response to form — pooling into deeper tones in recesses and breaking lighter across the surface — giving the glaze a layered, organic quality.
Recommended for decorative use. Cone 6 oxidation.
Finish: Reactive, variegated surface with strong colour movement.
