Brushable Glaze - Midfire
Abbots Tenmoku is a Cone 6 midfire brushable glaze with a deep brown-black tone, rich gloss, and a soft smoky haze where it gathers thickly. Inspired by classic Japanese tenmoku surfaces, it is dramatic over light clay bodies and equally powerful as a foundation for layered glaze work.
Finish & Surface
Reactive glossy surface with smoky and layered character.
